Course Description
The course topics are directly derived from the PMI Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and other respected authors for this relatively new and often neglected aspect of the project management discipline. Other course matter is based upon empirical observations from real representative projects. The course is structured around the five main formal components of the Risk Management Process-namely, Risk Management Planning, Risk Identification, Risk Qualification and Quantification, Risk Response Planning, and Risk Monitoring and Control. Each component is covered sequentially with its respective application of inputs, tools and techniques, and outputs.
